In recent years Kollmorgen has advanced servo technology for use on Flexographic and sheet-fed presses.  Kollmorgen has pioneered the use of Direct Drive Rotary (DDR) technology with the Kollmorgen Cartridge DDR® systems for anilox, plate cylinder, and impression rolls for Flexography.  This patented CDDR technology enables high speed, accurate, registration for critical print color stations in both in-line and CI printing presses.  Our advanced motion algorithms with observer technology and bi-quad filters provide for superior motion control with active compensation of loads.  When coupled tightly with our KMS controls, a high performance motion solution results that makes the difference in your machine’s performance.
